Bellevue Boys Lacrosse drop Mukilteo Friday Night

After defeating Mukilteo in Everett, Bellevue is now 9-2-0 on the season.

EVERETT – Drew Douglas netted 5 goals to lead Bellevue to its ninth win of the season with a 14 – 1 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Mukilteo, Friday at Mariner High School in Everett.

Mukilteo chalked its only goal of the game, opening scoring at 9:22 of the first on a Tyler Eli solo shot. Cole Johnson finally put Bellevue on the board at 2:39 of the first. The goal was the first of 14 unanswered Bellevue scores as the Wolverines went on to dominate the game.

Cole Johnson contributed to Bellevue’s scoring onslaught with 4 goals and Hank Bethke netted 2 as Bellevue advanced to 9-2-0 on the season. For Mukilteo, Tyri Betyhea had 5 ground balls and Paul Linari had 12 saves in goal.

Bellevue (9-2-0) next faces Northshore (4-5-0), Wednesday, April 20 in an 8 p.m. start at Bellevue High School. Mukilteo (1-6-0) next faces Lake Washington (5-4-0), Tuesday, April 19 in an 8 p.m. start at Kamiak High School.
