Boys Lacrosse: Bellevue, Sammamish Roll
The Bellevue and Sammamish boys lacrosse teams notched big wins on Tuesday.
BELLEVUE LACROSSE CLUB
Hank Bethke scored six goals and Blake Samuel netted five as Bellevue ran past Puyallup 19–1 in non-league boys lacrosse action on Tuesday at Bellevue High School.
Bellevue outscored Puyallup 5–1 in the first quarter, than poured on nine goals in the second to take a 14–1 lead at halftime.

The defending state champions cruised to the win in the second half, adding three goals in the third and two in the fourth. Cole Johnson scored three goals and Dakota Jones collected 11 ground balls in the win.
Bellevue improves to 2-0-0 this season, while Puyallup is winless in two matches. Bellevue hosts Palo Verde of California on Friday. Faceoff is at 6 p.m.

SAMMAMISH LACROSSE CLUB
Tyvan Schmidt, Andrew Wenzl and Brian Headland each scored three goals to lead Sammamish to a 16–2 win over previously undefeated Redmond on Tuesday at Newport High School in Bellevue.
Sammamish (3-0-0) struck early, scoring three goals in the first quarter and five in the second for an 8–0 lead at halftime. Redmond fell to 2-1-0. Sammamish travels to Port Angeles for a 3 p.m. start on Saturday, March 26.
