Five Bellevue East Players Named to All Academic Team

Kudos to five Bellevue East players who have been named to the U.S. Lacrosse All Academic Team.

The Academic All-America award recognizes juniors  and seniors for excellence on the field and in the classroom. 

BELAX includes players from four Bellevue high schools. The national All-Academic winners are: 

• Elena Becker, defense, International School;
• Cassey Dang, defense, Newport High; 
• Joanna Heywood, midfield, International School; 
• Kayla Miller, midfield, Interlake High; 
• Sophie Wolz, attack, Sammamish High.
