Sammamish Lacrosse Chalks Win Against Lakeside, Led by Schmidt's Five Goals

Tyvan Schmidt's performance marked the fifth time this season the senior attackman scored 5 or more goals. He has 35 on the season.

SEATTLE – Tyvan Schmidt netted 5 goals and Tyler Wright scored 4 to lead Division II Sammamish to its 9th win of the season with a 16 – 4 boys high school lacrosse win over Division I Lakeside, Thursday at the Lakeside School in north Seattle.

Schmidt’s performance marked the fifth time this season the senior attackman scored 5 or more goals. He has 35 on the season.

Lakeside was led by Steve Armintrout with 2 goals. Connor Haney and Keaton Santi each had a goal and an assist and Peter Scott had 9 saves in goal for the Lions.

Division II Sammamish (9-1-0) next faces Redmond (3-1-0), Wednesday, April 13 in a 7:30 p.m. start at Marymoor Park in Redmond. Lakeside (1-10-0) next takes on Northshore (3-5-0), Thursday, April 14 at Bothell High School.
