The Sophia Way announces Best Corporate Partner of The Year 2013 Award to Red Lion Hotel, Bellevue

The Sophia Way celebrates its partnership with local business community and recognizes The Red Lion Hotel, Bellevue with its Best Corporate Partner of The Year Award 2013
 
The Sophia Way announced The Red Lion Hotel, Bellevue as the recipient of its Best Corporate Partner of The Year 2013 award on October 25th at their Annual Community Business Council Benefit Breakfast. This award was presented in recognition of Red Lion Hotel’s outstanding support of The Sophia Way’s mission. Over the last few years, The Red Lion Hotel, Bellevue has not only sponsored many major events for The Sophia Way, they have often opened their rooms for women needing emergency shelter and for women recovering from an illness who had nowhere else to go.
 
“We hope that this award will inspire other local businesses to take action,” said Katherine Jordan, Executive Director of The Sophia Way. “Homelessness is a multi-faceted issue which needs to be addressed at several levels. We will be able to eliminate homelessness only with the active participation and collaboration of individual citizens, government, faith organizations, non-profits, businesses and other institutions in our society. We are honored to have partners like the Red Lion Hotel, Bellevue helping us further our mission of ending homelessness for adult women in King County.”
The Sophia Way Community Business Council (CBC) was launched in 2012 recognizing the need to build a community of local businesses and business leaders who could help us with their collective wisdom in effectively executing our plans moving us closer toward our goal of ending homelessness for adult women in King County.
