Seattle Humane Society and Safeway Launch Summer Food Drive to Benefit Local Pets

The Seattle Humane Society and Safeway have teamed up for a Summer Pet Food Drive to help fill the shelves of Pet Food Bank, according to the Seattle Humane Society. Collection barrels for pet food will be in local Safeway stores throughout July.
The Seattle Humane Society's pet food bank helps provide food for the pets of low-income seniors and others who need financial assistance feeding their pets.

Seattle Humane's volunteers pack, load and deliver pet food to local senior centers, low-income housing complexes, food banks and individual homes.
