First organized by Rick Teegarden in 2004, the Kids Care Coat Drive has become a tradition. Currently, the donation boxes have been distributed out to most Bellevue School District schools, community centers, and other various centers. The students involved with this drive are determined to reach their high goals, and hope that the community will help as well by donating new or gently used winter wear. The coat drive has been an ongoing event for seven years now, and it has been successful every year.
