<p>The Bellevue Fire Department is run through the City of Bellevue and has nine different fire stations throughout the city:</p>
<ul> <li>Station One (Downtown/West Bellevue) – 766 Bellevue Way SE </li> <li>Station Two (Eastgate/Lake Hills/W. Lake Sammamish) – 2802  148th Ave. SE </li> <li>Station Three (Crossroads/Northeast Bellevue) – 16100 NE Eighth St. </li> <li>Station Four (Factoria/Somerset) – 4216 Factoria Blvd. SE </li> <li>Station Five (Northwest Bellevue) – 9621 NE 24th St.</li> <li>Station Six  (Bridle Trails/Wilburton) – 1850 132nd Ave. NE</li> <li>Station Seven (Wilburton/Woodridge) – 11900 SE Eighth St.</li> <li>Station Eight (Eastgate/Cougar Mountain) – 5701 Lakemont Blvd. SE </li> <li>Station Nine (Newport) – 12412 SE 69th Way </li> </ul> <p>All are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Bellevue Fire Department also runs four Medic One units, which provide emergency medical response.</p> <p>There are almost 250 firefighters and paramedics throughout Bellevue. According to fire department figures in 2009, the fire department responded to more than 17,000 fires, emergency medical calls and other calls in the city and in surrounding communities that contract with the fire department.</p> <p>In emergencies, residents are asked to call 9-1-1 on their phones.</p>
