This is my brother.
I believe he is guilty for what he did, because he did cause it, but also, he…Read More was under the influence and I'm guessing black out drunk, and hey, do most people not do stupid shit when that drunk? If he were with friends they should have kept him from going anywhere. It's too bad this happened on the morning of my birthday too. When I first heard about it, they had yet to show a picture of him, and I didn't want to believe it was him, but it is. He took a life, so yes, time is deserved, but also that life cannot be replaced. I'm praying for the family and the friends who are dealing with the loss of their loved one, but also, don't forget to pray for him, no matter how angry you are with him, I really hope that the time that he spends, he will become a better person, and his family has lost him as well, as he will still be alive, but practically non existent in my mother's, sister's, and our nephew's lives as he will be spending it locked away. I don't think it should be just him getting locked up, but there should be consequences for the friends who let him leave in his condition. Not as brutal as the 6.5-8.5 years he will be getting, but at least some community service or something. Remember, if you have a friend or family member or even a stranger you see trying to drive even after just 2-3 drinks, don't let them. Call a cab for them, and even pay for it if you have to, because I'd rather lose some replaceable money than a non replaceable life and have someone sit behind bars for it when they may not have any recollection of partaking in that action.

Looks like this chap needs MORE practice at the range. If there is a "next time" for this…Read More homeowner, let's hope he is more successful in taking out the garbage so none of his neighbors has to deal with this kind of situation from the same individual or his criminal associates trying their luck at crime for a living. Glad to hear though you got a good piece of this slime-ball. KUDO's for standing your ground, brother. Glad to read that you and your family ARE safe today and the criminal is headed for prison.

Julia Biryukova knows where Sky is. I'd bet money her family knows as well. WHY hasn't law…Read More enforcement been more aggressive in pursuing that angle? And is it true she's living on the taxpayers' dime these days? That's the last bit of info I read about her. If it's true I'm incredibly disappointed in our system (again).

So glad that no innocent people were injured near our busy neighborhood grocery store and…Read More surrounding businesses. Just a few hours before the standoff began, I pulled in there with my son while school children were dropped off. Kudos to Bellevue Police and KCSO.

I cannot be happier to be reading this right, the person shot in the leg Monday night is a VERY…Read More close friend of mine, I consider him more like a brother to me than a friend. His Gun shot wound was very bad and left him bleeding nearly to death on the way to the hospital, the OR surgeon had said if he had arrived 10 min later he probably would have bled out and died. The bullet went completely through his leg and hit 3 arteries on its way through his thigh. The hospital had to call in a special surgeon to preform his surgery which took 5+ hrs. The victim is and has been in ICU since he got out of surgery early Tuesday morning, and is expected to stay in there for the next couple of days. The victim will also have to go through therapy when his wounds have healed.
I truly hope that the suspect gets a full sentence and is charged with the max penalty. There was absolutely no reason for him to have even shot my friend in the first place except to look like a tough guy or excuse my language but a "badass". Instead he looks like an idiot sitting in jail, right where he belongs and I feel Renton/Fairwood area is a little safer now that this psycho in behind bars, and I really hope he doesn't receive bail.
