Eastgate Cooperative Preschool is located at Eastgate Congregational Church, across the street from Eastgate…More Elementary School. The preschool is affiliated with the Bellevue College Parent Education Program.</p> <p>Families who enroll in the preschool take an active role in the day-to-day running of the school. Parents help the teacher in the classroom two to four days per month. Parents also must attend month Parent Education meetings, which cover child development and other parental issues. Parents also may join the board and help with setting up the classroom and cleaning the facilities.</p>

The church has many different fellowship groups, including a youth group, a women's group and a men's group.</p> <p>Eastgate Congregational also has a quilter's group, which has met weekly for more than 20 years. The quilters have made quilts to raise funds for the church, as well as clothing, toys and blankets for children who are ill or in need.</p> <p>The church has youth programs at the preschool, elementary, middle school and high school level, with the older teens participating in retreats and mission trips. There are also monthly organized activities for youth, such as bowling, snow-tubing and hiking.</p> <p> </p>
