I have lived in Bellevue for over 40 years.  After being a stay at home mom I went back to work as an R.N. and following that as a counselor.  For a few years now I have been retired from employment and have spent most of my time volunteering through my church and community.

I am executive Director of Backpack Meals in Bellevue, a grass roots, volunteer only organization formed in 2012 to provide packs of food to kids in the BSD who do not have enough to eat on the weekends.  

I also am Co-coordinate Orchard Gardens in Bellevue at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.  We have a large garden with about 20 community members who grow food there.  Last year we gave nearly a ton of food to Hopelink in Bellevue.
